Avoid Salty Foods

  • Excess salt can cause water retention, and make you look and feel puffy and bloated.

  • When the sodium dries out your skin, your body tries to compensate by over producing oil through your glands. This can lead to breakouts.

  • Sodium can also lead to high blood pressure causing inflammation which can break down collagen and elastin. This can lead to wrinkles.

  • Check pre-packaged foods for sodium content and rinse all the canned vegetables, meats, etc after opening to reduce the sodium content.
